PRE-REGISTRATION

 Class pre-registration will open on Sunday, July 8, 2017 and will continue until Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Students are encouraged to pre-register.

 Pre-Registration fee is $25/Onsite is $30. Fee includes continental breakfast, 2 breaks and lunch. To pre-register, please complete the form at the back of this brochure and mail with your check/money order to: Macedonia Baptist Church, Christian Education Ministry. ATTN: Mrs. Mikki Ward-Harper, 26 Wilson Ave., Albany, NY 12205; or you may drop the form off at the Church Tuesdays thru Fridays between the hours of 10:30am. to 2pm.

CERTIFICATE OF PROGRESS PROGRAM (COPP) 

The Certificate of Progress Program is designed to produce qualified church leaders that will lead church members into the twenty-first century, and for Christians who are interested in increasing biblical knowledge. 

COURSE # 4012 – The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit

Instructor: Rev. Victor Covington,Pastor of Union Baptist Church

This course, designed to study the person and work of the Holy Spirit, will provide students with a thorough look at the corresponding doctrines that influence our understanding of the work of the Holy Spirit. Students will be provided with a holistic understanding of salvation, with specific emphasis on justification, redemption, and sanctification.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COURSES 

COURSE #7019 How to Become a Strong Christian Black Man

Instructor: Min. Michael Poindexter, Assoc. Metropolitan NTM Baptist Church

This course will emphasize the inherent strength given to black men. Focus on the hook of Genesis, chapters 21 and 22. 

COURSE # 9911 The Role of the Associate/Assistant Minister

Instructor: Rev. Leonard D. Comithier, Jr., Pastor of Macedonia

Review the traditional roles of associate and assistant ministers. Recognizing that there is no universal standard for the associate or assistant minister. Students will study models of work as staff associates or assistant ministers, and the importance of building a meaningful and workable relationship with the pastor.
